Fantastic Trip
I have arrived back in UK after a fantastic
December/January trip. I have travelled to Northern Thailand
before, but only stayed in Chiang Mai. This time we stayed for
longer and spent time in Mae Hong Son, Lampang and Lamphun as well as
Chiang Mai. Even though we travelled about a lot and made the most
of our time there I still found the whole pace much more relaxed after
spending so much time in Bangkok. I have posted a new gallery of

Met My Idol!
I have loved Palmy ever since I saw a video of
her performance at Pattaya Music festival shortly after the release of
her debut album. I have collected all her music and concert
recordings on CD, DVD and VCD and always wished to see her perform live.
Well this trip my wish finally came true in a way that I only could have
dreamed of.
A Thai language forum mentioned an upcoming performance at a small venue
in Bangkok and we booked a table. I got to meet Palmy and she is
as beautiful, charismatic and friendly as I thought she would be.
My wife even danced with her on stage when she closed the show with
"Jailhouse Rock"!
We went to the next concert at Central World on Christmas Eve and Palmy
even dedicated her encore to us that night. We also saw her
performance at Central New Year Countdown.
Dream come true for me, something I will never forget and all thanks to
my wife who spotted the original post in an obscure forum!
